Dental Negligence Solicitors

About Us

About  Us

The Dental Law Partnership provides specialist high quality legal representation for patients in dental negligence cases.  Since August 2000 the company has grown steadily, so that now we act for dental patients in a majority of the dental negligence claims brought in England and Wales. Most of our cases are run on a conditional fee basis, in other words ‘no win, no cost’ and we have pioneered this arrangement of case funding in the field of clinical negligence – allowing access to justice for dental patients.

Our in-house dental expertise, in the form of three of our directors and other members of the team being dentally qualified, allows us to assess the clinical aspects of a potential claim at an early stage without resorting to outside experts. Our dental expertise is equally matched by our wealth of legal experience in the field of clinical negligence, which allows us to ensure that patients’ cases progress as effectively and efficiently as possible.

The Dental Law Partnership’s dedicated team of staff are committed to providing a high quality personal service from the moment a prospective client contacts us, to the day the client's claim is settled and beyond.

If you have concerns regarding your dental treatment and are looking for someone to help you sort things out then the Dental Law Partnership provides you with dental knowledge, legal expertise and personal service – contact us now.

David Corless-Smith

David Corless-Smith David spent ten years as a dentist before qualifying as a barrister and practising at the Bar for two years. In March 1988 he qualified as a solicitor and since that time he has concentrated on representing dental patients.

David is particularly proud that the Dental Law Partnership has pioneered the use of conditional fee agreements, which have allowed patients to bring meritorious claims that they would not otherwise have been able to pursue without serious financial risk.

David is married with 2 young children and still has very little sleep.  He is a keen kickboxer and competes regularly, frequently sporting a new black eye in the office.
